Refund policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. For an order with several items delivered separately, the period begins when you receive the last item.

How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. An email is enough.

You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this page, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the fourteen days have expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs. This excludes additional costs arising because you chose a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us.

We will make the refund without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as for your order; you will not incur any fees for this. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day of your notice of withdrawal. We will give you the return address after you contact us, because depending on the item our products are shipped from different print shops in the EU. Please do not send anything back before you have contacted us. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are liable for any loss in value of the goods if it results from handling that was not necessary to check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by you is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs.

This applies to most of our range, because we make every design individually from your photo and according to your details. Specifically, this includes:

  • all wall art with your pet photo, i.e. posters, posters in a wooden or metal frame, posters with hanger, canvas, framed canvas, acrylic glass, aluminium, wood, foam board and acrylic stands
  • the pet wall calendar with your designs
  • all other products that we make with your photo, your chosen name or according to your details

For digital content that we create individually for you, your right of withdrawal expires as soon as we have begun performance and you have expressly consented before ordering and confirmed your knowledge that the right expires.

What we promise voluntarily

The exclusion above is the legal framework. In practice we work differently, so that a problem does not arise in the first place:

  • Preview before ordering. In the live preview you see your design before you order. This lets you check the style, crop and name at your own pace.
  • Typos after ordering. If you made a typo in the name, write to us straight away. As long as your order is not yet being printed, we will correct it free of charge. Once printing has started, unfortunately this is no longer possible.
  • Replacement for defects. If your picture arrives damaged, the print is faulty or something does not match what you ordered, we will replace it. A photo of the problem by email is enough.

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. They apply regardless of whether a right of withdrawal exists.

Damage and transport problems

Please check your delivery immediately after receipt. Contact us if the item is damaged, you received the wrong item or something is missing: kontakt@printmypet.de, ideally with a photo. We will sort it out and send a replacement.

If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you can fill in this form and send it to us. You do not have to use it.
